Bharat's business cards have come a long way since the 1990s. Back then, smartphones and Google didn't exist, and businesses relied on communication through such business cards. . Bharat's business cards reflected this simpler time, with tiles on the left-hand side and a center section where interested parties could select the type of tile they wished to order and request a brochure or CD with patterns and prices. It reflected salesmanship in an era before cheap mobile calls or email. Today ofcourse, as most other brands Bharat has a website, free to peruse by anybody who is interested in browsing or purchasing these tiles. But it is archival objects like these which illuminate evolving business and sales practices.
